As singer, Monique is inspired by a wide range of genres. Growing up she learnt classical technique and was involved in choirs. She thrived under the instruction of Elisa Wilson at WAAPA, exploring both legit and contemporary vocal techniques and discovered a passion for harmonies.

She has performed in cabarets in Paris & Geneva and has dabbled in the Sydney gig scene, performing with collaborator Georgia Hurford on their musical cabaret ‘A French Connection’. Monique has worked in the cover band space, performing the role of Frida in Grumble Entertainment’s ‘Dancing Queen the ABBA Band Tribute Show’.

Whether she’s belting a Celine Dion ballad or the delicate notes of a Puccini Aria, Monique loves to share music. Her current vocal coach is Andrew Byrne of The Singing Athlete and she also has Certification One of his brain based singing technique.

Monique offers private & group vocal lessons, runs choirs and musically direct musicals. Get in touch if you'd like to work with Monique!
